A Californian woman claims she has married a train station which she named Daidra. She says they have been in love for thirty-six years.
Carol Santa Fe [we’re guessing she changed her name after her ‘marriage’ but we can’t confirm] is a 45-year-old from San Diego, California. She has been in love with the Santa Fe train station since she was nine. She takes a forty-five minute bus ride every day to spend time with the train station.
She claims they have “sex” mentally, whatever that means. Carol identifies as an objectum sexual, which we were shocked to learn is actually a thing:
Carol said: “We didn’t start a relationship until 2011 but I had been in love with the station since I was a young girl.
“When we got married, I stood there and I told her that I take it as my partner.
“It was the happiest day of our lives.
“When I get there I say hello to her – I then walk around the block circling around her, trying not to let anyone notice I am talking.”
She claims that it is perfectly normal to love a building:
Carol added “Objectum sexuality is not a mental illness like the media always makes out.
“It is our sexuality, just like being lesbian or bisexual – we are not crazy.
“Daidra and I chat about normal things, I always tell her how my day has been.”
Surprisingly, marrying a building is not yet legal… even in California.
But if you accept the same argument the left gives for gay marriage that ‘love is love’ how can you reject this? Such things happen when mental illness is normalized and left untreated.
