Rush Limbaugh

Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh says that he knows the name of the spy who the FBI secretly sent to infiltrate the Trump campaign. He says he won’t give the name of the spy but instead will list what the spy has done that proves the Trump investigation by the FBI is a complete fabrication.

Limbaugh begins his story saying that George Papadopoulos, the low-level staffer working on the Trump campaign, was the second reason the Mueller investigation gave for starting the probe into the Trump campaign about possible collusion with the Russian government to win the 2016 election.

Carter Page was also given as a reason from the FBI who said that because of the Steele dossier, they set a spy on Carter Page. But Limbaugh points out that it was apparently Papadopoulos’ drunken blathering to the Australian ambassador in London one night was enough to set off the investigation because Papadopoulos said the Russians had thousands of Hillary Clinton emails.

Essentially, Limbaugh paints a picture of this Papadopoulos guy being a very vulnerable young person who just wanted to get ahead in the political world and was played by this FBI spy. The spy told Papadopoulos about these Clinton emails that Russians had and he felt very special that someone was finally letting him into big secrets for the campaign.

“In other words, Papadopoulos, reputedly the source and the reason, the second explanation for the investigation, only knew supposedly the Russians do have Hillary. We don’t even know that that’s true. But they planted that news with him to set him up. Folks, this is entrapment like you cannot believe. So Papadopoulos, when he’s given this offer of $3,000 to do a lecture and write a report by the FBI’s informant, he already knows because he’s been told by this Mifsud fellow that the Russians have thousands of Hillary e-mails,” Limbaugh explains.

Papadopoulos then apparently met with the FBI informant and was asked if he knew anything about thousands of Clinton emails received by Russians. After that the informant gets a hold of the Russian ambassador and Papadopoulos spills the beans.

This is the singular event, Limbaugh claims that started the whole FBI investigation into Trump’s campaign and started Robert Mueller’s “witch hunt” on Trump himself. Papadopoulos did not independently know about these Russian emails. He was fed this information by an FBI informant which then allowed the story of collusion to be created and the Mueller investigation begin.

“The whole thing was a setup. It was perfect entrapment 101. When Papadopoulos was questioned about this by the FBI, he lied about some things, and that’s why Mueller indicted him, convicted him, and he was found guilty of lying to the FBI because at some point he realized what was going on,” Rush explains.
