During last week’s White House press conference, Sarah Huckabee Sanders was answering questions as usual and trying to be civilized with CNN reporter Jim Acosta when she delivered a knock out blow to the fake news company, reports The Daily Caller.

Sanders took questions about the recent decision to reauthorize FISA, the imminent immigration bill, DACA and the Russia probe by the FBI.

However, Acosta decided to stay on the topic that everyone else in the Media would rather talk about than actual diplomacy questions. Acosta stuck to the accusations about President Trump that came from Michael Wolff’s new book, Fire and Fury, about the President’s tweeting habits after he watches cable news.

Acosta asked, “The president watches something on ‘Fox & Friends’ and then tweets about it… There have been folks out there who have said there’s a cause and effect. He watches something on ‘Fox & Friends’ and then tweets about it. Did that happen this morning and does that go on?”

Sanders knew that Acosta was wasting her time with this pointless question and decides to answer in a classic Sarah Sanders way: “I’m sure you’re disappointed he’s not watching CNN.”

Of course, Acosta couldn’t leave that comment alone and responded that he thinks the president watches “a lot of CNN actually.”

“I don’t think that is true, or your numbers would be higher,” Sanders fires right back.

After that comment, the whole room erupted in a loud “Ooooh” recognizing Sanders’ amazing burn.

“CNN’s ratings are abysmally low compared to their competitors. At one point in 2017, CNN’s ratings were lower than Nickelodeon cartoon programming,” reports The Daily Caller.

Acosta then continues to try to run with this idiotic line of back and forth saying, “we could keep going,” to which Sanders ultimately shuts him down and says, “no, I’d rather not,” because she understands the purpose of why they are actually there.

Sanders stuck to her professional ways though, and eventually got everyone back on topic about talking about FISA.
