White House Press secretary Sarah Sanders was on a roll yesterday. After a smarmy reporter tried to lecture President Trump, she took him to task with a lecture of her own that is sure to make Trump supporters pump their fists in the air.
Playboy White House correspondent Brian Karem wanted to know if the staff at the White House wished President Trump tweeted less. He then said the staff might be annoyed because they often have to answer questions about his tweets.
That’s when Sanders pounced, telling Karem that the media spends too much of their time on wasteful efforts. “You have the ability to choose what you want to write about, and you guys choose to write about things the American people don’t care about, day in and day out,” she explained. “That’s a decision you make, and frankly I think it’s the wrong one.”
Karem was still really upset about the tweets. He tried to ask another question after Sanders moved on to another reporter.
