Donald Trump was beaten badly in Wisconsin on Tuesday despite claims by his campaign that polls were wrong in predicting his defeat.
And now he’s taken to the media with claims of illegality and collusion on the part of the Cruz campaign as explanation for why he couldn’t overtake him.
Skipping his usual post primary press conference, Trump was quiet the night of the primary but soon unleashed a barrage of statements and tweets the following day.
Trump is alleging that the Cruz campaign is explicitly coordinating with Super PACs in their attacks on Trump, a move that is expressly illegal.
Second, Trump is calling the Cruz campaign a Trojan Horse for the establishment controlled party, which assumes a cozy relationship between the two.
And third is the claim that the Bush’s have coopted Cruz’s campaign and are running it as a vehicle to destroy Trump.
