In a surprising turn of events, the show The Night Shift, which airs on Thursday nights on NBC, for once depicted how violent and stupid ANTIFA protestors are.

The show depicts a violent protest breaking out with protesters in all black, attacking a conservative speaker on a college campus.  For once the conservative on the show isn’t depicted as the villain and instead the innocent victim to a coordinate anti-speech mob attack.

This episode comes at a very timely moment when just last Tuesday, the Washington Post ran an article titled, “Black-clad Antifa members attack peaceful right-wing demonstrators in Berkeley.”

Even House Minority leader, Nancy Pelosi, released an unequivocal statement about Antifa’s violence in Berkley saying, “the perpetrators should be arrested and prosecuted.”

The show is a nice change of pace from the usual anti-conservative view that most liberal Hollywood shows are these days, and instead portrays the hate group for what they really are: a violent anti-government cop killing group.

One of the black-clad shooters in the show proudly proclaims the she’s “putting wings on pigs today,” which has also shown up on posters in left-wing rallies with little-to-no scrutiny from the media.

And in case the show wasn’t being clear enough on what the protestors politics were, one of the characters actually calls herself a “left-wing lunatic” and she annoyingly rambles on to the medical professionals trying to save her life that they are all “pawns of the imperialist state.”

Hopefully this is an obvious enough message for viewers out there that what these protesters stand for is directly contradicted by the violent actions they take.  They stand to take away the right to free speech, and especially to conservative speakers, while also inflicting violence.

This violence needs to be stopped before it escalates further, like it has over the past few years, and before it claims more lives.
