Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren made some eyebrow-raising comments the other day during an interview on CNN. She was asked by host John Berman about the gruesome death of Mollie Tibbetts who was allegedly murdered by an illegal alien, who has been charged with the crime. Warren initially offered sympathies but was quick to turn the conversation political.

In the video, you will see the harsh reaction Warren is getting from this interview. And make no mistake, this is the type of thing that could ruin her presidential aspirations. It’s really that bad.

“The person who allegedly murdered her [Tibbetts] is an undocumented immigrant. Mike Pence and the president have suggested the laws need to be stronger so people like this were not in the country,” CNN’s John Berman said to Warren.

After giving some light sympathies Warren launched a veiled attack against President Trump and a brutal assessment of his immigration policies.

“Last month, I went down to the border, and I saw where children had been taken away from their mothers. I met with their mothers who had been lied to, who didn’t know where their children were, and there was no plan for how they would be reunified with their children,” Warren said.

“I think we need immigration laws that focus on people who pose a real threat, and I don’t think mamas and babies are the place we should be spending our resources. Separating a mama from a baby does not make this country safer,” Warren said.

So in other words, it’s sad that Mollie Tibbetts was brutally murdered, but let’s not forget the plight of illegal aliens anyway – they’re the real victims here.

Can’t this woman step out of her political persona for 2 minutes? Did she really need to pivot from this heinous crime to get in her open borders talking points? Does this woman even have a soul?

Sadly, these are questions with answers that are not readily apparent.
