Tomi Lahren is back to tell some truths to the crazy anti-gun liberals who would rather take away our second amendment right rather than listen to some basic facts surrounding the Parkland, Florida high school shooting case, reports Fox News.
Lahren gets right into the controversy by explaining that the blame that liberals and Democrats are placing on the National Rifle Association is misplaced and who they really should be blaming is the Broward County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI.
“Listen up, those who are pulling ads, discounts and cutting relationships with the NRA. And those erecting billboards with the slogan, ‘Kill the NRA.’ Let’s get something straight: The NRA did not kill 17 people in Parkland, Florida. Nor did a member of the NRA,” Lahren said.
Lahren explains that it should be the Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel who should be held accountable for the failures of his sheriffs, including the officer who just stood outside the school while the shooting was happening.
“‘The Broward County Sheriff’s department, along with the FBI, let warning signs fall through the cracks. Local AND federal authorities received numerous calls about Nikolas Cruz before the attack. Including warnings he was killing animals. At least four of those warnings suggested he could carry out a school shooting. Not to mention a 911 call that said he had pointed a gun at someone,’ Lahren says.
‘But that’s not all. In November of last year, the sheriff’s office received a tip from a caller warning Cruz was collecting gun and knives. Then, in January, the FBI failed to investigate YET ANOTHER tip, warning that Cruz was a threat.'”
Lahren understand that mistakes happen sometimes with our police force, our school administrations or bureaucracy fails which allows evil to slip in, but that is why American citizens have the second amendment and the right to protect themselves.
“The last thing we ought to do is give away those Second Amendment rights in response to this tragedy. We give those rights away … we will not get them back,” Lahren concludes.
