The Cleveland, Ohio Police Department did their own form of protest in response to Browns players not standing for the national anthem.

The players chose not to respect the flag and the National Anthem. So in response to their foolishness, the police force informed the team that they would not be holding the American flag at their next game.

“It’s just ignorant for someone to do that,” Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association President Steve Loomis said. “It just defies logic to me. The fact that management was aware of what they planned on doing, that’s as offensive as it can get.”

Loomis served in the Navy prior to becoming a police officer and will not be disrespected by some immature, overpaid football players.

“As a veteran of Operation Desert Storm and the United States Navy, and a 24-year veteran of the Cleveland Police Department, I am not going to participate or work with management that allows their players to disrespect the flag and the national anthem,” Loomis told WKYC news channel on Saturday.”

This all started with San Francisco 49-er Colin Kaepernick refusing to stand and honor the flag during the National Anthem. Kaepernick started a trend and still contends that his reasoning is tp protest police brutality.

But what does not honoring the flag have to do with protesting police brutality? Absolutely nothing. These spoiled millionaires are too self-absorbed to even know the difference.

Thank you to the police officers who took a peaceful and patriotic stand for the men and women who continue to protect the flag that these players disgraced.
