Robert Kraft

The New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has no problem defending President Trump and their dedicated friendship. Even as a Democrat – A donating, Obama devotee Democrat.

In 2011, Kraft’s wife, Myra, passed away after battling cancer and the Trump’s became loyal friends to him ever since.

“When Myra died, Melania and Donald came up to the funeral in our synagogue, then they came for memorial week to visit with me. Then he called me once a week for the whole year, the most depressing year of my life when I was down and out.”

Kraft and President Trump have had a close relationship prior to even the thought of running for the White House. Trump could often be seen on television in the owner’s suite at the Patriot’s stadium in Foxborough.

Mr. Kraft also commented on his confidence in the administration to boost the economy:

“To be honest, I think we have a real challenge, especially in the inner cities,” he said. “Working class people and lower income people, we have to help more. They’ve gotten hurt over the last decade a lot. We have to create jobs and a vibrant economy that helps those communities throughout America. I really believe and hope that the new administration is going to do that.”

Kraft’s All-Star quarterback, Tom Brady, has also known President Trump for 16 years now, but this has become a target for criticism. USA Today reports that:

“There are plenty of people in the NFL – owners, executives and players – who are Trump supporters. But no one was as public as Brady, who had a “Make America Great Again” hat in his locker way back in September 2015.”

But when Brady was recently confronted about his relationship with President Trump, Brady fired back:

“Why does that make such a big deal?”  I don’t understand that…I don’t want to get into it, but just – if you know someone, it doesn’t mean that you agree with everything that they say or do. Right?”

To those who are questioning President Trump and this unlikely friendship,  it is hard to not see the bond that goes beyond politics and reminds us that we are all human. And that his relationship with Robert Kraft has never been stronger.
