Deputy national security adviser under former President Obama, Ben Rhodes, was questioned by the Senate Intelligence Committee, but the media did not want you to know about it.
Rhodes was also high on the investigation list for the House Intelligence Committee as well. for a possible connection with leaking classified information from the Trump administration to the media.
One of those suspecting House members was Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL). DeSantis believes Rhodes is the culprit behind the misleading reports about the nuclear deal with Iran, as well as other leaked information.
“I believe he’s in touch with people on the National Security Council,” DeSantis said. “It would be absolutely legitimate as part of leak investigation to bring him in and put him under oath, and I would absolutely support doing that.”
DeSantis and the rest of the conservatives detest liberal media sources, including the New York Times and Washington Post. And believe they perpetuate the leaks.
“The press has helped facilitate this breakdown,” he said. “They run stories that say former officials say, and basically that means Obama people are saying it. A lot of times these are people who are not even in the government anymore and the media will take stuff and run with it and a lot of times it’s not fully the truth.”
