On Greg Gutfeld’s Saturday night show, he presented his theory about why former FBI Director James Comey really wrote his tell-all book, “A Higher Loyalty,” reports Fox News.
Gutfeld explains to his panel that Comey has actually written the wrong book and needs to instead write about the relationship between Hillary Clinton, her personal aide Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner.
“This is really about how Hillary protected Huma Abedin, which allowed Anthony Weiner to continue with that laptop, which then had the emails.”
Abedin was the former vice chair of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and is married to Weiner, the disgraced former congressman who was sentenced in September to 21 months in prison in connection with the sexting scandal that drove the New York Democrat out of Congress.
Gutfeld said that Comey knew NYPD would look to seize Weiner’s laptop — which contained classified emails from the account of Abedin — so he would then begin to write his book.
“If you’re going to write a book, it should be about Hillary’s unwillingness to deal with Huma, and that cost the election,” Gutfeld said.
Comey has been going on his national book tour, talking to every major news outlet about the personal memos he leaked to the press when he was still acting director of the FBI over private conversations that Trump and Comey had not long after Trump’s inauguration.
Trump has repeatedly called Comey out for the leaks and even said he is a “slime ball” for telling such lies about his meetings with the President. These Comey memos also contributed to the mounting investigation against Trump and that is what spurred Special Counsel Robert Mueller to begin his investigation into Russian collusion.
