The third GOP presidential debate next Wednesday promises more fireworks as the field has tightened since the departure of Rick Perry and Scott Walker after the last debate.
CNBC announced the final lineup for the 8pm Eastern primetime debate for ten candidates: Trump, Carson, Fiorina, Bush, Cruz, Rubio, Huckabee, Christie, Kasich and Paul.
The so-called undercard debate will feature only four candidates: Pataki, Jindal, Santorum and Graham.
Given the business and financial focus of CNBC, the debate’s questions will likely center largely on jobs, economic growth and trade.
According to the most recent polls, Donald Trump continues to dominate the field in the RCP average with 27% to Ben Carson’s 21%.
The rest of field is way behind the two party outsiders with Rubio bringing up third place at 9% followed by Ted Cruz at 8%.
