A new email released by Wikileaks today shows Clinton Campaign Chairman John Podesta receivng an email from an assistant attorney general with information regarding the probe of Clinton’s illegal email server.
Peter Kadzik is apparently the mole in the Department of Justice who helped Hillary Clinton prepare to combat the release of her emails.
“There is a HJC oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil Division will testify,” Mr. Kadzikemailed from his personal gmail account, with the header “Heads up.”
“Likely to get questions on State Department emails,” Mr. Kadzik continued. “Another filing in the FOIA case went in last night or will go in this am that indicates it will be awhile (2016) before the State Department posts the emails.”
Mr. Podesta, Mrs. Clinton’s campaign chairman, then forwarded the email to Mrs. Clinton’s inner-circle and added: “Additional chances for mischief.”
Kadzik and Podesta both attended Georgetown University law school together in the 1970’s. They frequently dine together and are good friends. The email was dated May 19, 2015. Here is a copy:
Mr. Kadzik has also donated money to Hillary Clinton. In 2006 he cave $1,000 to HillPAC, a leadership PAC started by Clinton. He also donated to her 2008 presidential run and gave $250 to John Podesta’s daughter, who was running for school board.
Kadzik also tried to get a job with the Clinton campaign:
“I was with my father and Amy recently, and they both suggested I reach out to you,” Mr. Kadzik’s son wroteMr. Podesta. “I would love to find some time to connect and see if there may be an opportunity for me to help on the campaign.”
His name was then put in the mix for field staffers.
Kadzik was also the attorney for Marc Rich, whose FBI file was released yesterday.
