A former George Bush administration ethics official, who once said that it would have been better if the United States hadn’t won the American Revolution, is now pursuing a Senate candidacy as a Democrat in Minnesota, reports NTK Network.

Richard Painter has been a continuous presence on most cable news shows and takes any chance he can get to ridicule and shout his disagreements about President Trump’s administration. He’s also taken to Twitter to voice his outrageous comments and ideas, including wanting to be apart of England’s empire again.

The candidate lamented that the United Kingdom has such, as he sees it, desirable institutions such as universal health care, while the United States is “stuck with a president guilty of treason.”

It’s one thing to be anti-American, but to be pro-British and anti-American Revolution is just something we haven’t seen from the liberals and Democratic party yet. If he wants to go that route as his campaign strategy, he may want to try something else, seeing as being anti-American hasn’t really worked out for anyone since the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown.

But can you really expect anything less from the Democrats who would rather see illegal immigrants take over this country that supports and provides laws for the hard-working legal citizens already living here?
